Quality Sites

Your website is ranked based on the quality of the content. Google’s algorithm is designed to find high quality sites and one way it does this is by reducing the rankings of sites with low quality content. So how does Google classify a quality site? In order to gauge the quality of a site Google asks questions about the content on the site to see if it provides the answers the user wants. Answering some of these questions about your content will give you a better chance of getting ranked higher.
• Is the information trust worthy?
• Is it written by an expert?
• Is the content original and does it have factual, spelling and stylistic mistakes? Is the information based on original research, reporting and analysis?
• What drives the content on the site? Is it created to address the users of the site or to achieve higher ranking with search engines?
• What is the value of the content compared to other pages in the search result?
These are just some of the qualities that Google looks for when it is analyzing the content of a website. Google doesn’t exactly give you all the information they are looking for when they rank a site but there is one attribute they look for above all others and it is quality.

Analyzing your Content

When you create content for you site ask your self questions about the information you are providing from the point of view of the user.
• Not everyone has a PhD. so ask yourself is the information easy to understand and was it edited well?
• Does the article provide different points of view?
• Would you recommend the information to your friends or family?
• Is the article too short to address the subject matter thoroughly? The article must answer the primary question by providing comprehensive and complete description.
• What kind of complaints do you have about the article on the page or the site as a whole?

Quality Control

Quality control is key to ensuring how your site is perceived by users and search engines. Google recommends removing low quality content you have on your site because it can affect the ranking of your website. If you have pages with low quality move them to another site or replace them with high quality content. It takes more time to create quality original content but if you don’t have the time you can outsource this portion of your website to Web Content Provider . They have writers with many years of experience able to create high quality original content to address your customers and the different algorithms of search engines.
